WELESTRA- 20 Tablets
Description
Desogestrel and Ethinylestradiol Tablets Uses
Desogestrel 0.15mg + Ethinylestradiol0.02mg Tablets – Welestra-20 Tablets is an oral oestrogen combination drug that contains Desogestrel and Ethinylestradiol and is primarily used for contraception and dysmenorrhea treatment. Contraception is a procedure used in family planning to prevent pregnancy. A woman can only become pregnant if her egg is fertilised by a man’s sperm. Dysmenorrhea is characterized by irregular and painful menstrual cycles that cause abdominal pain, digestive issues, fainting, vomiting, and nausea.
It inhibits the release of an egg from the ovaries and thickens the fluid in the cervix, making it difficult for sperm to enter the womb. Furthermore, it prevents the thickening of the uterus’s inner wall, which is required for an egg to grow and multiply.
Ethinyl estradiol + desogestrel tablets prevents you from becoming pregnant. It restricts an egg from being released from your ovaries and slows sperm movement. This affects and hinders fertilization. If used correctly, the tablet is a reliable and safe method of contraception. It does not interfere with sex, and you can go about your normal routine without worry.
